Dr. Davison's emphasis is on preventative care. She believes in client education such that the client is an active participant in their pets welfare and health care program. This includes consultation with and referral to area specialists, when necessary. One of the goals at Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital is to combine technology and equipment with medical knowledge and skills to to aid in rapid diagnosis and treatment of client's pet friends and companions. At Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital, we seek to encourage and help clients to be advocates for their pet's health and in so doing we are committed to taking the extra time to explain your pet's particular condition and encourage you to ask questions and seek answers and options in your pets health care. Clients are encouraged to call the hospital with any questions that may arise in regards to the care of their pet or anything that may be of concern to them about an animal or the hospital. Interaction with our clients and patients is the only way we feel we can truly understand client/patient needs or if you are troubled with your pet's care.
Since we like to let Dr. Davison have a day off occasionally, we may have a relief or associate veterinarian on-staff from time to time; So on a follow-up visit you may see a doctor who may not know the complete history of your pet as well as Dr. Davison and so s/he may ask questions you feel you have already answered. Your patience is appreciated. Please feel free to ask whether Dr. Davison will be in on a certain day or not when making your appointment. If you have questions after your visit or comments about another veterinarian, or any other staff member, please call Dr. Davison or our Hospital Administrator and talk with them about your experience(s).
